Our Commitment to Privacy

At Memory Rumble (memoryrumble.com), we believe online games should be fast, fun, and respectful of your personal boundaries. We designed Memory Rumble from the ground up to operate with minimal data footprint: no accounts, no profile tracking, and no server-side gameplay storage.

1What Data We Collect (And What We Don't)

No Accounts or Passwords: Memory Rumble does not offer user registration, account creation, or logins. You do not need to provide your real name, email address, phone number, or passwords to play.

In-Session Gameplay Data: When playing solo or pass-and-play party multiplayer, you may enter temporary player nicknames and generate round statistics (e.g. digit span recall accuracy, response speed, and round scores). This data is stored strictly in client-side volatile memory (React state) inside your web browser.

Important: Gameplay information is never transmitted to any remote backend server, database, or analytics platform. When you refresh the page or close your browser tab, your session state is immediately discarded.

2Local Storage & Browser Preferences

We use browser localStorage strictly to remember your interface display preference:

  • Theme Preference: Stores whether you selected "dark" or "light" mode so the site loads in your preferred visual style on subsequent visits.

This key is stored locally on your device only and contains no identifying personal information. You can clear local storage anytime through your browser settings.

3Server Logs & Analytics

Like virtually all web hosts and content delivery networks (CDNs), our hosting infrastructure may automatically log standard, non-identifying technical connection metadata when a file is requested. This typically includes:

  • Browser type, device classification, and operating system version
  • Referring URL and requested page paths
  • Date and timestamp of requests
  • Masked IP addresses utilized for server load distribution, threat detection, and DDoS mitigation

If lightweight analytics measurement tools are active, they are configured to aggregate general traffic trends (such as total daily visitors and page popularity) without creating individual visitor profiles.

4Third-Party Advertising & Google AdSense

To help support our ongoing hosting costs and keep Memory Rumble 100% free for everyone, we may display third-party advertisements via Google AdSense and affiliated advertising partners.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites on the internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to Memory Rumble and/or other sites on the Internet.

For detailed information on how Google manages and processes data in its advertising products, please review the official policy document:

5Your Ad Choices & Opt-Out Links

You have full control over personalized advertising preferences. You can choose to opt out of personalized ads at any time by visiting the following consumer privacy portals:

Please note that opting out of personalized advertising does not mean you will see fewer ads; rather, the ads displayed will be non-personalized (contextual).

6Children's Online Privacy (COPPA Notice)

Memory Rumble is not directed toward children under the age of 13. The website, its rapid numerical flash mechanics, and its party multiplayer modes are designed and intended for teenagers and adults.

We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has inadvertently provided personal information through our contact channel, please notify us immediately at our contact page, and we will promptly delete any corresponding records.

7Regional Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)

Depending on your location (such as the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California and other US states with consumer privacy statutes), you may possess specific legal rights concerning personal data:

  • Right to Know & Access: The right to request confirmation of what personal data is processed.
  • Right to Deletion: The right to request erasure of any personal records.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We never discriminate or alter game quality for users exercising their privacy rights.
  • No Sale or Sharing of Personal Data: Memory Rumble does not sell, rent, or barter personal information to third parties.

Because Memory Rumble operates without accounts or persistent database records, we do not store customer profiles or identity dossiers. If you contact us via email, your correspondence is used exclusively to answer your inquiry.
